Dr. Brittany Southern

Brittany received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. After school, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at North Houston Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. Shen then worked as a small animal emergency clinician for two years in Houston. She is currently pursuing a career in laboratory animal medicine, and is a second year resident at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Brittany enjoys working with students, spending time with her family, and being outdoors.
